    About this opportunity:Improve the visitor experience at Scottish Fisheries Museum Trust by engaging our visitors in creative practices and helping to facilitate workshops and outreach activities based on the Museum's exhibition programme.

    Volunteers must have:
    * An interest in history
    * An interest in working with members of the public
    * The ability to talk to everyone from all walks of life
    * Experience in or a willingness to learn crafts.

    Volunteers may be subject to a PVG check depending on the type of engagement they wish to deliver. The Scottish Fisheries Museum Team will support any applications.

    We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, including those facing barriers to employment, people living with disabilities and with additional support needs, people from BAME backgrounds, refugees, and those who identify as LGBTQI+.

    Training provided:Volunteers will be given an induction and training for all aspects of the role by the Scottish Fisheries Museum Team. They will be supported in their role by the Learning and Engagement Officer as a key point of contact.
